Happy New Year 2010!

1

I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year 2010!

In just a few hours we’ll say goodbye to 2009, and go into the next year, 2010. A new decade actually. A new year where we can expect new things in our lives. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going through a lot… As I did last year. But I’m of course excited about what new technology 2010 will bring. A tablet from Apple, or new computers with Google Chrome OS? … That’s probably some of the things I’ll be looking forward to (and making posts about :) ).

I found this article on Engadget about ten gadgets that defined the decade we’re saying goodbye to in just a few hours – Ten gadgets that defined the decade .

Happy New Year! I hope 2010 will be a great new year!

A Crack in My iPhone 3G

3

In 2008, I bought my iPhone 3G 16 GB White at release, and I still think it’s the best phone I’ve ever owned, but… I’ve returned several times (3 or 4) for a brand new because of cracks on the back in the plastic. I’ve recently found this little crack on my current iPhone.

As you can see, it’s located near the mute-button. All this about the iPhone 3G cracks is a known problem… Atleast for the 3G. I’m note sure about the 3GS. but it does also have a back of plastic. Here is a link to a old post from Engadget about it – Are iPhone 3Gs developing cracks? .
Maybe some people might of course get angry over it, but actually it doesn’t matter that much to me, because every time I’ve been lucky enough to get a new phone within a week. This might sound stupid, but I think it’s nice to receive a brand new phone every time! :) … Well, I can’t imagine why I shouldn’t get a new this time… If I don’t, then I think I can live with it… I just want a new if I can. Have you experienced anything like this before?

Merry Christmas 2009!

1

I just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas 2009!
Until now it’s been a great Christmas for me this year. Here in Denmark where I live, we’ve been getting a lot of snow the last week, so what more can I ask for? Maybe some great gifts? Well… I don’t know about that yet, otherwise I’ll just buy some of the things I need/want after Christmas. Actually there hasn’t recently been much stuff I’ve been interested in… I don’t know why… I’m sure I’ll find something soon, but I’m not yet sure what… Maybe a t-shirt with my username from Twitter on? :)
Again… Merry Christmas!

Kymera Wand Remote

0

Yes… This post is actually about a “magical” wand remote. It’s something I’ve recently found on the internet, and it’s pretty cool! It can control things that uses a remote, for example a television. I’m not sure how much people, who own the wand, is using it, but I like the idea “a real magical wand” very much!

So how does it work…? According to what I’ve read, it can actually copy the infrared signals remotes are sending out when a button is pushed. You can learn the wand up to 13 commands, which all have they’re own movement, you must do to send the signal out again. You could for example flick it to the site to switch channel on your tv, or rotate it to adjust the volume on your music-player.

What do you think about? I think it’s awesome, and I’m actually considering to buy one right now! I’m still not sure if I’ll buy one, because they aren’t cheap. If you want one, then you can buy it at different websites. Here are links to some of them:

Here is a funny video ThinkGeek has made about the wand. You can find others at YouTube.
